Citizenship

I am a US Citizen and filed an I-130 application for my husband.

The K-3 should be an option for you and probably is the best way to go if it is available. This is the visa category for spouses of US citizens abroad. It is a new category and is designed to speed up the process of getting relatives to the US (compared to the traditional way which could take one to two years. For the K-3, you are already past the first step which is to get the I-130 filed and get a receipt. You are not probably eligible to file the K-3 application with the USCIS.
